How to choose the protection dock bumpers
One of the best components to prevent damage to the loading dock are dock bumpers. The purpose of these bumpers is to protect the area of the loading dock when it receives the impact of the truck during the docking maneuver, thus avoiding damage to the dock façade, the frame, the door, the ramp or even the floor of the industrial unit where usually cracks appear produced by the continuous impact if the appropriate dock bumper is not installed.
In order for a protection bumper to carry out its task correctly, it must be robust, with a high absorption capacity, and very resistant and longer lasting at the same time, since over time it will receive impacts from trucks, in addition to the vertical movement of the truck body during loading and unloading of merchandise, and consequently its deterioration will be relevant.
