We manufacture mobile ramps to load and unload freight trains
During the last years, the transport of merchandises by rail has been developing in some Spanish ports such as in Valencia, Huelva or Tarragona. Both for public operators and for private companies managing the development of freight transport, it is necessary to count on the resource of a mobile ramp for loading and unloading trains.
At Angel Mir we design and supply this type of mobile ramps according to the needs of each customer. We are talking about robust ramps that can withstand a maximum capacity of up 3 tons and are commonly used to transport vehicles in train wagons, in both the lower and upper level.
They work by means of an electrical hydraulic system, although it can also be battery operated, getting up to a height of three meters for the second level. Thanks to the surface made with non-slip grille, the protections on the sides and the built-in safety valves, a maximum security is guaranteed during use. On the other hand, they have been designed to provide an easy and efficient operation, including the addition of two very large wheels and support feet that stabilize the ramp, a lip in the front allowing a perfect coupling with the surface of the load and, in the back, a small ramp with smooth and progressive slope that makes it easier to access to the merchandise.
